EHL Touch A Truck

Cape Coral, FL — The EHL Fragile X Foundation is excited to announce its highly anticipated 9th Annual Touch-A-Truck event, taking place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Lafayette Street between Cape Coral Street and Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral, Florida.
This free, family-friendly community event invites children of all ages to get up close and personal with a wide variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, ambulances, police motorcycles, construction equipment, and more.
Designed to educate, entertain, and inspire, Touch-A-Truck allows kids to climb aboard, explore, and interact with the vehicles while meeting the professionals who operate them. Each child will receive a “truck passport” and can visit designated stations throughout the event for a chance to win prizes.

To ensure an inclusive experience, the event will feature a “horn-free hour” from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., providing a quieter environment for children with sensory sensitivities.
Touch-A-Truck is more than just a day of fun—it is a meaningful community event that raises awareness and support for individuals and families affected by Fragile X syndrome, a genetic condition that causes intellectual and developmental challenges.
The event continues to grow each year thanks to the support of local sponsors, volunteers, and community partners who share in the mission of making a difference while bringing smiles to thousands of families.
Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring cameras, wear comfortable clothing, and be prepared for a hands-on day of exploration and fun. Parent supervision is required.
