“Pastries with Parents” is a morning where eating breakfast together mingles with creativity. Each child receives a blank page, to become a part of a collaborative book. With an array of colorful pencils, and markers, they transform into illustrators. Children are encouraged to become authors as well, adding words to their artwork. With gentle guidance from their parents, they write captions, or even short descriptions to accompany their illustrations.
