Charlotte County Libraries - Preschool Prep

This extended program, for children 3-4 years old, is designed to improve listening and group interaction skills while providing practice for the preschool and school environment. Space is limited, and registration is required.

Is the Program Right for Your Child?
~ Children must be 3 or 4 on September 1.
~ Children must be potty-trained and able to use the restroom without assistance.
~ Children who have already completed Preschool Prep may not repeat the program.
~ Each class session begins with a gentle goodbye before parents and caregivers leave the room.

~ Letters and their sounds
~ Numbers 0-20
~ Shapes
~ How to recognize and write our names
~ Motor skills
~ Classroom etiquette and respectful communication
~ Listening and group interaction skills

~ Port Charlotte Library Tuesdays: 11 a.m. - noon on Tuesdays
~ Punta Gorda Charlotte Library Tuesdays: noon - 1 p.m. on Tuesdays
~ Port Charlotte Library Wednesdays: 11 a.m. - noon on Wednesdays
~ Punta Gorda Charlotte Library Wednesdays: 11 a.m. - noon on Wednesdays
~ Englewood Charlotte Library Fridays: 1 - 2 p.m. on Fridays
